What did I do this time… I’ll tell ya, last Friday my mom slept here and we brought her to the airport to go to France, She forgot some clothes a blue skirt and a t-shirt and I found them. She had spilled something on it so I figured I’ll just wash them then she has them clean when she comes next time and she can take them home clean, right? So far all that worked out well, except the skirt colored the white on every item I had in the laundry blue… Yeah, that sucks, I checked right away all the things in the laundry,  my new dress, used to be off-white with dark black flowers, do I really need to tell you its now light blue with large black flowers? sighs… a few other things got colored too like a towel and my baby girls wash pillow cover and a few other little things, I told my ex it could have been worse, his socks could have been pink instead of blue but he couldn’t laugh about it and I don’t blame him, I’m not too happy either…

The pants I have been sewing in the last few days are almost finished. I only worked a few hours in the evening on it because I had a very busy day with a staff meeting and the Dutch lessons at the community center. But I am almost done now. The bottoms are attached to the body and the waist band where the elastic goes through has been sewn as well.Tomorrow I hope I’ll get the time to buy buttons and maybe another elastic for the waist because the one I have is blue and I prefer a white because I don’t want it to be seen through the fabric. I also need to buy new buttons for the pants and jacket I want to make AND buttons for a blouse my mom is making for me. With a little luck ill get it finished this week.

Just a small update on the pants I am making for Anarosa, I have sewn all the pieces together, that is, I have sewn the top parts together and double stitched them as well, pinned the shoulder bands on it and then I continued with the bottom parts of the pants. sewn the back and front together and double stitched those too. Now the pants and top parts are pinned together. I’m a little bit stuck at the moment with it because I am unsure as on how to continue. I need to think this over first so I called it a night for now. Tomorrow will be a full day for me with a staff meeting in the morning and the Dutch lessons in the afternoon at the community center. So most likely I wont do much tomorrow but Wednesday  I have no plans still so that should be a good day to continue.

Antonio has reprogrammed the mail thingy that the sites uses to sent out passwords to registered users. I did not had time to re add more of the lost posts because I have been sewing today. The pants for Anarosa are my current project still and although its going okay I am not doing it completely by the book again haha but that is so me. I always have to change things and give a little of myself to it.

Well, I have not finished it yet and its going to take a small week before I will finish it because there is still a lot of work on it left BUT, I have started to sew some summer pants for Anarosa from some left over fabric of my infamous table tent that’s still not finished.  In the last week I have draw on pattern paper and pinned onto the fabric, one blouse for me and these pants for Anarosa, I have drawn a pair of pants on pattern paper as well,  cut the blouse and the parts for Anarosa’s pants out of the fabric, I started to sew her pants put another flyer together for the community center on Thursday, had a meeting on Tuesday morning, assisted at the dutch classes on Tuesday afternoon, my little creative club on Friday morning and on Friday afternoon my mom came who helped me with some of the sewing stuff. Today we brought her to the airport in the morning to go to France and in the afternoon and evening I have been working on sewing those pants for Anarosa. Tomorrow  its also our wedding anniversary tomorrow so that looks like its going to be another full day again. Not going to bed too late tonight because I am already tired, so goodnight folks!
