Since I bought my new sewing machine, I really wanted to start sewing again. I have a few books with patterns I want to make but had no fabrics. I checked a few markets last few weeks for nice fabrics but could not really find anything I liked for a price I liked, so the waiting was on the fabric event at Boss en Lommer in Amsterdam today June 24. I found lots of fabrics and could easily have bought more but one has to stop at one point. The weather was bad. I was there early, but it was already very crowded so I started at the other side of the market where there where less people so at least I would get a shot at buying some nice fabrics for a good price. It was raining the whole time, that was in my advantage I think, because it was very crowded and it was hard to get to some stalls. If it had been a nice and sunny day or even just not raining there would have been more people, I am sure. I did not like the rain but today I did not complained too much about it.<\/p>\n

And here are the fabrics I bought today:

White lace for curtains in Anarosa her tabletent, a sheer lilac roses fabric to go with the lilac satin, think im going to make a top and shorts from those. The pink fabric is stretch and Although I have plenty of that I will make at least leggings for Anarosa from that.<\/p>\n

The pink fabric is a lil thicker stretch material I will use for a lil jacket with stretch pants for me and the sheer yellow with flowers I am thinking to make a top out of or a dress. not sure yet. The creme color fabric is suedine, not sure what I will use it for but it was only 1 euros a meter<\/p>\n

I have no Idea what I will make out of these . The one with the lil roses needs no ironing at all, the light pink fabric I might make a stretch longsleeve out, the darker pink is thicker material and I might use for a pair of pants for Anarosa with a lil jacket. The towel fabric I have no idea what I will do with yet.<\/p>\n
