That was about my weekend, it started on saturday with helping Sinterklaas gettign all the gifts together for the big celebration on december 5th. Right after that I was meeting up with Sandra, my colleague from CJM, at the district office for a Sinterklaas party for the kids of the \u00a0ppl who work there. It was a big party and there where sooo many kids, I have no idea how many bags of popcorn I scooped and handed out but it must be close to 200 for sure. Sandra was making cotton candy and was handing out those to the kids. So I think its safe to say that in front of our stand most of the kids where standing untill we send them away to take a break for ourselfs LOL. \u00a0After we where finished and cleaned up and put everything back in Sandra her storage, I ent back home where a cake as waiting for me to get filled and decorated. My daughter Merel was to help me so after I sat down for a short time and got my breath back, we started with the filling. I showed Merel how to mix it all and cut the cakes in two my self. Then I showed Merel how to mix up the filling \u00a0and put her to work again while I cleaned up things a little. Antonio had come home by then from his own holiday shopping and I needed to speed it up so we could have diner.<\/p>\n

So I quickly put the buttercream and the hazelnut filling in and on the cakes and stored them in cake boxes outside. Normally I would use the refrigerator but it was rly cold outside so since it was in a cakebox it was okay to put it there till we could continue working on it. Which we did shortly after diner. We turned the cake into a real holiday thing, The bag of Sinterklaas. The pictures here and in my gallery show the cake :). Im pretty proud of it cus it turned out so great \ud83d\ude42 and by now I can tell you it sure tasted great too :).<\/p>\n

Then today my mom came to visit us and she brought some gifts with her as well. I am really happy because I got a giftcard for Cook & Co (thats a store where they sell all kinds of kitchen stuff) And Antonio got a giftcard \u00a0for a \u00a0hardware store. Merel got \u00a02 pairs of earrings and Anarose a stone cup n saucer set to play with from Hello Kitty.<\/p>\n

And now its sunday evening, we had diner and I am going to relax and maybe make a flyer for my cupcake club. Good evening folks!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
